We have been making spa covers since 1984 in this area of southern Idaho. This is one of the toughest climates for spa covers in the world because of the variation in temperature and moisture. The temperatures varies from 10 degrees below to 105 degrees above zero. COT Spa Covers stand up to these extremes because we live and work in this area and have developed a water recycling spa cover.
When we started the company in 1984, we made spa covers based on the conventional wisdom at the time. We soon realized that these covers would not stand up over time in our climate. We started to design and develop covers that would take the climate change and we discovered the key was to control the moisture inside the tub, which is in the form of steam. The solid vinyl on the bottom of the spa cover does not allow the moisture to escape, therefore, it gets saturated and gets so heavy, it's not convenient to take it off and on. It becomes too heavy for one person to do it. Our spa covers stay lighter.

It's not just part of a sales pitch. We manufacture spa covers, floating tables, insulated bottom boards, pool table covers, boat covers, spa steeps (never need painting), personal water craft covers, awnings, pool and spa heater covers. We carry other spa products including cover lifters, vinyl cover cleaners and chlorine free spa purifiers, spa steps and insulated baseboards.
